AMP News was to be opened in 2020, but then COVID-19 hit us hard.

Update: As of Valentines Day, 2023, COVID is still horrendous in the county where we’re headquartered. At one point, there were 4618 new cases every day at it’s peak. The good news is that thanks to widespread distribution of vaccines, deaths attributed to covid are down from a high of 58 deaths per day in March 2021.

Our county in the red state of North Carolina is still getting new cases at an average of 159 per day. That is just the ones that are reported!
